Math 2401: Calculus 1

Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in Math 1404 or Math 1505 or placement by exam taken at the University Houston-Downtown.

Catalog Description: This course provides a study of the main concepts and basic techniques of differentiation and integration of algebraic and trigonometric functions and related problems. The topics include functions, limits, derivatives of algebraic and trigonometric functions, curve sketching, applications of derivatives, and an introduction to the definite and indefinite integrals of algebraic and trigonometric functions.
